In The Car

Having use of a vehicle is often a necessity for visiting the homes of clients. Though you might not think it, preparation for making a safe visit can start within your vehicle.
Although most transactions are made via cards and phones, having cash is always sensible. Keep at least £20 hidden in a compartment in case of an emergency.
Always have a charging cable or powerbank in your car — you never know when you might need your phone. A portable charger is a handy accessory, but remember to charge it regularly so you don’t lose your backup.
Try not to let your fuel level dip beneath a quarter of a tank (or battery if you have an electric car).
Park in a well-lit area, somewhere you won’t get blocked in and preferably where you can see your car clearly from the property. Always reverse into a parking space in case you need to leave quickly.
