Escalation Contact Checklist

They must know what number will call, who they are an escalation contact for and how they can help.

Include your company policy and training.

WHAT NUMBER?
The Peoplesafe Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) will call on 0208 786 1010. Escalation Contacts should save this number as a contact in their phone so they will always answer.

WHO?
List clearly the people and/or teams they are responsible for and the key risks they face.

HOW TO HELP?
Include training and educational content alongside reminders of how they can access information to help during an ongoing alarm.

Manager Checklist

Managers need to know their liability in ensuring their team members are wearing PPE whilst working. Managers must have clear expectations of their own and their team members responsibilities in using Peoplesafe.

Manager Expectations

Make sure their team are carrying apps & devices as PPE. They should know:

Where on Nexus to check, schedule and read reports on their team's use of apps & devices.
When to manage directly or report internally on non-use of personal safety apps & devices.
How to keep their own and team members' profiles up-to-date on Nexus.
Who to contact at Peoplesafe or internally if they need help or support.
The processes for reporting suspected faults or requesting replacements.
