Find out about how we have helped Councils protect their people
Our specialist Alarm Controllers are trained to deal with every kind of scenario calmly, quickly, and professionally.
They handle alarms from council staff on a daily basis, successfully resolving incidents of violence, verbal abuse, intimidation and many more scenarios.
Here are just a few of the alarms we've recently received.
Ticket Officer AttackA ticket enforcement officer faced aggression from three individuals in a car park, escalating from verbal to physical attack. Unable to escape, the officer activated an SOS alarm to Peoplesafe ARC. The controller swiftly contacted the police through URN, bypassing 999, saving time. They monitored the situation, informing the officer's manager and ensuring prompt police arrival within 6 minutes of the SOS.
Social Worker AbuseDuring a routine visit, a social worker faced verbal abuse from a neighbour. Feeling unsafe despite trying to de-escalate the situation, they discreetly alerted the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) for assistance. The ARC contacted the worker, gathered details, and informed the police. Police arrived on scene within 10 minutes, diffused the situation, and dealt with the aggressor.
Driver Heart AttackAfter getting pains in his chest, neck, and jaw a food delivery driver pressed the SOS button on his device. Within minutes the Alarm Controller had spoken to his escalation contacts and the assistant manager was at his side to make sure he was OK. Within an hour of raising the alarm the driver had two stents fitted and was recovering in a hospital ward.
“A pair of safety boots can only ever offer limited protection unless you always wear them.
Personal safety technology is the same. You may never had an incident beofre, but you could in the future and that's to point of having Peoplesafe as part of the kit bag."
