Your location is tracked only while you are on shift. Once you tap End Shift, tracking stops. You can choose GPS High, Normal, or Non-GPS modes in Settings.
Very little — around 10 MB per week in GPS Normal mode (similar to sending one photo a day).
Yes — you can use any phone that supports voice calls or SMS. You can also use satellite messengers like ZOLEO or SPOT X for remote areas.
Yes — the devices will synchronise. However, we recommend using only one device at a time to prevent missed updates or duplicate notifications. If you switch devices, end your shift on one before starting it on another.
The app continues running on low battery, but if your phone turns off, your monitor will stop receiving updates. OK Alone automatically reduces location update frequency to save power. Keep your phone charged or carry a power bank during long shifts.
Only your assigned monitors and administrators can view your location. OK Alone does not share or sell your information. Your GPS coordinates are recorded only while on shift and are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Tap Cancel Help immediately. If the alert has already been sent, contact your monitor to confirm you’re safe.
Your PIN is issued by your company monitor or administrator. If you lose it, contact them or email customer.support@okalone.net to have it re-sent securely.
The app automatically switches to Low Signal / Limited Coverage Mode. You’ll be prompted to send your update by SMS or phone call so you stay connected even without data.
