The heart of our service
Guaranteed to provide the fastest possible response in an emergency through our direct access to emergency services across the country.
We can provide the highest levels of service quality because we have complete ownership of our end-to-end service offering. Additionally, since we do not utilise third parties, sensitive information is not transferred or shared – ensuring data is always secure.
The ARC never stops operating. In the unlikely event that the ARC is compromised, we have two alternative secure locations that can be operational within minutes, guaranteeing service continuity.
SEE HOW IT WORKS:
alarm activations handled every year
average time for us to listen to your call
system availability throughout 2022
As an ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus accredited supplier, our data processes are in line with GDPR and information security best practices. GDPR compliance is supervised by our in-house Data Protection Officer.
Personal data provided by the customer is only made available to our Alarm Controllers in the event of an emergency.
Peoplesafe Alarm controllers are extensively trained to respond exclusively to worker alarms. They complete intensive training when joining the business, then are closely monitored through genuine and false alarms. Training is completed following every assessment to maintain skills.
When the Controller feels there is a threat to life they will use a Unique Reference Number (URN) - which we hold for UK police constabularies - to issue a level 1 response. In less serious situations, the Controller is still able to mobilise an emergency response.
Our Controllers have access to over 1,000 security teams across the UK and if required, can dispatch security personnel. This network of backup responders adds peace of mind to your employees when a blue light response or escalation contact is unavailable.
We work with your colleagues to create a network of dedicated escalation contacts for when an internal response is required. This will be used to confirm an employee's welfare in low-risk scenarios, or in instances where we cannot reach the employee but can hear that everything is ok.
A driver was sitting in his van when he began feeling dizzy and started to experience shortness of breath, so he activated the SOS alarm and informed the Alarm Controller of how he was feeling. The Controller then contacted the emergency services and passed over details of the driver’s location and medical information.
The ARC Controller stayed on the line to keep the user alert and reassured; meanwhile, another team member contacted the user’s manager to inform them of the situation. It transpires that the user was experiencing a heart attack and without this critical help, he would not have survived.
