A 3-second press and hold on the SOS button raise an alarm to our ARC.
An optional extra, fall detection sensors within the device or app will trigger an alarm if it detects weightlessness, tilt, impact & non-movement.
Setting activities prior to completing tasks will ensure an alarm is raised if you don’t confirm your safety.
Shaking an iPhone or pressing an Android lock button a set number of times will trigger an alarm.
DIRECTLY COMMUNICATE
If the situation will not be escalated by talking to the Alarm Controller, talk directly with them through the device or app after the beep
DESCRIBE
Using descriptive words and phrases discreetly will give the Alarm Controller better ‘sight’ of the situation to make their assessment
DURESS
Using pre-determined duress or precautionary words signals the Alarm Controller to take a specific action
The Alarm Controller cannot see you, help them understand what is happening so they can support you.
