Delivery Driver AttackedA delivery driver was verbally abused and threatened with a garden fork by a customer. The driver had already called police but activated the SOS alarm on their Peoplesafe app.
The controller assessed the situation, contacted the driver’s manager, and stayed on the line with the driver monitoring the situation until police arrived.
Meter Reader AssaultedA meter reader was assaulted and locked in a cupboard by a customer. They activated the SOS alarm on their Peoplesafe app, and the controller contacted police, providing precise location details.
The controller also informed the meter reader’s emergency contacts. Police arrived and rescued the meter reader.
Estate Agent Locked InAn estate agent was working in a showroom home when they became stuck inside the bathroom.
They raised an alarm, and the controller followed the escalation procedure, getting hold of the secondary contact when the first person listed didn’t answer. The agent’s manager attended the scene to rescue them.
