App Overview

PRO APP HOME SCREEN

The Peoplesafe app will open on the home screen, which consists of:

Header panel with Settings
Two status tiles
SOS button
Up to four features

You can customise the layout of the tiles surrounding the central SOS button in General Settings, to provide quick access to the features most important to you.

USER INFO

In General Settings you can view your User Info containing your email address, mobile number and an Activity PIN.

ACTIVITY PIN
You may be asked for a PIN number when setting a Timed Activity, Welfare Check or Duress Alarm.

For ease of use you can use your phone's Biometric recognition settings instead of the Activity PIN.

BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION

Extra level of security:
Use either your fingerprint or facial recognition to access features such as, Log/Text Activity, Welfare Check or User Info that typically require a PIN entry, eliminating the need to input your PIN number manually. Once activated a Biometric toggle will show in your General Settings list for ease of turning it on or off.

This can only be activated on smartphones equipped with fingerprint or facial recognition capabilities.

LOGOUT - The log out button signs you out of your account, returning you to the login screen.

If you have forgotten your PIN you can:

Login into our Peoplesafe Nexus Portal
Tap ‘My Profile’ icon
Choose 'Show' against your PIN to see your number

TILE SELECTION MENU

To change the tiles, click General Settings ‘cog’ icon.

Then select ‘Tile Selection Menu’ from the list.

The ‘Tile Selection’ page will load.

Here you can customise which tiles you would like displayed on the home screen.

Tap ‘Confirm’ to apply the changes.

Please note that your account administrator may have locked the app tiles for your account, preventing any changes to your home screen layout.

GPS STATUS

GPS LOCATION

Obtaining your real-time GPS location enables our Alarm Controller to send help directly to your location. The Controller only sees this data when you raise an alarm.

A green dot means the handset has successfully acquired an up-to-date GPS position and new coordinates are displayed.

An amber dot means the handset is updating the GPS signal.

A red dot means the handset failed to acquire an up-to-date GPS position. It will display the last known GPS coordinates.

W3W is a simple way to state your location with just 3 words. With W3W you can accurately communicate your location to within 3 square meters.

CONNECTION STATUS

DATA / WI-FI NETWORK CONNECTION

A data connection on a handset allows it to connect to the internet and transmit information over a mobile or Wi-Fi network.

The Connection Status tile shows the total number of positions sent, along with the date and time the last position was sent.

A green dot shows handset is connected to the internet.

A red dot shows handset is not connected to the internet.
