Optional App Features

The features in this section are optional and require your employer's approval to activate.

WELFARE CHECK

The Welfare Check is an add-on that sends you a check-in message if your activity lasts longer than 21 minutes. To enable it, set up a Text Activity and choose a message interval based on your activity duration.

After activation, you'll receive an 'Are you Okay?' message at the selected time. Depending on your situation, you have three ways to respond.

FAILED WELFARE CHECKS
If you don't respond to a welfare check, you'll receive two calls, 5 minutes apart. If both calls go unanswered, an alarm will be created at the ARC.

The Alarm Controller will verify your safety. If it's a false alarm, tell the Controller, and they'll deactivate it.

TRAVELSAFE

TRAVEL WITH CONFIDENCE
Feel safe wherever and however you travel. Whether you’re commuting to work, travelling for business, or socialising with family and friends, Travelsafe monitors your journey with a direct link to our professional ARC team whenever you need it.

INITIATE TRAVELSAFE

DURATION TIME
The Duration Time is automatically calculated once you have set your location, destination and mode of travel.

You have the flexibility to change your Duration Time if required. Tap the time next to Duration to edit.

WELFARE CHECK
When you set up your journey, you can opt for a Welfare Check, which sends you periodic messages to confirm your safety.
Please note that Welfare Checks are not available for cycling or driving modes.

JOURNEY NOTES
If an emergency arises, the Alarm Control Room (ARC) will have access to your location, destination, and mode of transport. However, additional details can provide valuable context for a more effective response. Consider adding information such as:

Public Transportation: Bus number
Private Transportation: Taxi driver's name or license number, car model, or registration plate
Personal Meetings: Name of the person you're meeting and the location

ARRIVAL AT YOUR DESTINATION
Travelsafe ensures your safety by automatically stopping when you arrive at your destination. Upon arrival, you'll receive a notification confirming your safe arrival.

WHEN TIMER OVERRUNS
If you have not reached your destination and the countdown timer has elapsed, the app will initiate the overrun procedure. You will receive two calls, both 5 minutes apart. If neither call is answered, a timed alarm will be raised on your behalf where the Alarm Controller will verify your safety.

Important:
Travelsafe automatically extends your duration timer in driving or cycling mode if traffic delays you. It recalculates the duration 10 minutes before ending and updates the timer once, keeping you focused on the road.

UPDATE OR CANCEL TRAVELSAFE
You can update or cancel Travelsafe by selecting the Travelsafe tile and choosing the relevant options.

TIMER COUNTDOWN
You can easily view your journey countdown from the app main screen or from your locked screen.

QUICK ACCESS
For easy access and to view your countdown timer, pin the Travelsafe Tile to your main app screen.

FALL DETECTION

With Fall Detection enabled, your phone will automatically raise an alarm if it detects a fall. The app monitors for:

Weightlessness (falling)
Orientation change
A period of non-movement

When all three criteria are met and you cannot cancel, your phone will vibrate continuously.

Cancel Fall Detection
Shake your phone while it's vibrating. The phone will stop vibrating, indicating the alarm has been canceled.

FALL DETECTION SETTINGS - If fall detection has been provided by your employer, you can enable the feature in the General Settings menu.

Sensitivity Settings

Choose from four sensitivity levels: High, Medium, Low and Lower, and to adjust your Fall Detection settings for optimal accuracy.

High & Medium: Ideal for those at higher risk of falls.
Low: Recommended for most users.
Lower: For users who experience frequent false alarms on “Low.”

SURECAM

Connect your Peoplesafe profile to your SureCam dashcam for added protection.

When SureCam detects a vehicle accident, the Peoplesafe ARC will automatically receive an alarm and can access live dashcam footage if you're unable to respond.

To connect your SureCam camera to the Pro app:

Choose the "Link device" option. The app will automatically disconnect any previous driver and connect to your app.
To manually disconnect the device: Select the "Delink Device" option.
